ZeroRisk - Walk the Line - CNA Documentary
Posted on May 23rd, 2024 in International Security by Tony Loughran
After over two months of meticulous planning and a month of execution, "Walk the Line" emerged as one of the most daring documentaries ZeroRisk has ever undertaken. Spanning seven countries, from Peru to the US-Mexico border, ZeroRisk provided flawless support to the CH News Asia team.
ZeroRisk's efforts were primarily focused on logistics and emergency planning, ensuring every detail was covered. We assigned security advisers and paramedics to meet the team at each border, accompanying them throughout the journey. This support enabled the news team to document the harrowing experiences of 12 Chinese families seeking US citizenship.
One of the most challenging segments was the five-day crossing through the Darien Gap. ZeroRisk meticulously planned for this section, with helicopters on standby for medivac and anti-venom treatments for potential snakebites in the jungle. Despite encountering dangerous situations, including face-to-face encounters with cartels and bandits, we maintained 100% safety throughout the mission.
Proud of my team (Gordy, Freddy, Ting, & Naz).
